Excellent takeaway, good prices and even better food! Salt and pepper is excellent, best I’ve have in Leigh/Wigan area by far, chow mein and ribs also brilliant! Glad to live close by now 😋

The chicken fried rice is cooked to perfection with generous portion sizes for a large family. The chips are proper 'chippy chips' and none of this frozen steak cut chips that other Chinese takeaways use. There's a hidden menu item, the chop suey roll. It can be made upon request and it's thick, crispy and is full of flavour. The shop takes cash only, however for the prices you're getting a lot for your money and doesn't suffer on the quality of food and preparation. I've tried a lot of Chinese takeaways in Wigan and I'd rate Happy fish a solid 8.5/10.
